GOSPEL: Baptism, Anointing and the Laying on of Hands
Baptism by full immersion, anointing with oil and the laying on of hands to receive the Spirit of Elahim changed my life. I remember the day as though it happened yesterday. When I returned home that evening, I was surprised to find that there was something new in me that gave me power and understanding that I didn’t have before. From that time on my life proceeded on a new path that led me to where I am today.
Should you be baptized? Should you receive the laying on of hands?
I think so, if you have the desire, and commitment and if you believe what the Scriptures say about these personal rituals.
Is it needed for salvation? No, but it does witness to your belief and commitment. It is a positive step and an action based upon what you understand and know. It may carry you further on the path to righteousness than if you didn’t have it. The reason I can say this is because of the fact that these simple acts dramatically changed my life, as surprising as that may sound in this cynical world.
Also it does not require that you join any church or sect. As John wrote, you do not need anyone to teach you, the anointing, and the spirit will lead you into all truth!
I have written this to you concerning those who lead you astray. But the anointing that you have received from Him stays in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as that same anointing does teach you concerning all, and is true, and is no falsehood, and even as it has taught you, you stay in Him. I John 2:26-27
Also to face the troubles coming in the next few years, you will want to be fully equipped as a soldier for battle. Trying to find this through religions that are marked for destruction is neither helpful or profitable for you. What you really need to crossover from darkness to light, from delusion to the Truth, from helplessness to power is something that delusional religions cannot offer you.
If you have read or listened to my posts and podcast, you may have noticed that I do not speak or write as others do, nor do I speak on behalf of any church, school, or synagogue. But I speak the truth of Elahim as it has been revealed to me through the anointing that I received. But what I have can be yours also, if you believe and recognize that you need to look forward to the future with hope in the faithfulness of Eyahuwah You need to have Eyahuwah lead you through the word given to Enoch, Moses, the Prophets and Apostles. That is what the subtitle to this blog says.
Baptism (immersion) is an outward expression of an inward conviction. It holds the same meaning to a spirit-led life as a marriage ceremony does to a marriage. But for those who have been set-apart and called by Elahim, that outward expression combined with the anointing with oil and the laying on of hands can do wonders in your life.
This is adult business and was never intended for babies and those who are under age. When they are adults then they can make their own decisions. Infant baptism is another scare tactic of the religions to keep you and your family under their control. No baby is not going be saved because they were not baptized. Saving is the job of Eyahuwah, and religions have no part in it. According to the scriptures many adults will be saved even though they may not have been baptized, anointed, and had hands layed on them.
Can you be baptized? Yes.
Can you receive the anointing with oil and the laying on hands to receive the Spirit of Elahim? Yes.
It depends upon what you believe and your level of commitment.
Eyahushuah gave a command to his “taught-ones”:
And Eyahushuah came up and spoke to them saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them in [into] the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the set-apart Spirit, teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you. And see, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
What is the Name of the Father and the Son? It is Elahim.
For both He who sets-apart and those who are being set apart are all of One [Family (NIV)], for which reason He is not ashamed to them brothers. Hebrew 2:11)
Eyahushuah said to her [Miryam from Magdala], “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go and tell my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elahim and your Elahim.’ ” John 20:17
“Elahim” and “Family” in this context are one and the same.
